| Using Princess Poo, Shine Sweetie & Soulmate
The Point (for those in a hurry who don't want to be bothered by another infomercial):
Wash your hair twice with the Poo. Don't use too much. A quarter size dollup is enough for med hair. The first time you'll likely have no lather, feel like nothing is happening and think: why am I using this stuff? Rinse and wash a second time. You should have lather now. Your hair is clean.
Follow with Shine Sweetie or Soulmate. You will need at least three minutes. Don't skimp on the time as your hair needs to chemically bond with the moisture binding agents and proteins. It will not feel slippery. You will think: This is doing nothing. Don't reach for another conditioner. Wait three minutes and rinse. You will see the benefits as your hair dries and is soft and full of body. Hint: Give your hair an intensive conditioning treatment with either products. Leaving on for 30-60 minutest, or more if you wish, will leave you with rehydrated, shiny, invigorated locks.
Slip: the feeling of slip comes from silicones. Our conditioners do contain silicones, but nothing close to the proportions of silicones in commercial shampoos. Look at your conditioners. The second or third ingredient is likely to be a silicone (words starting in Cyclo or ending in "cone" are silicones). These are extremely heavy oils, which are incredibly slippery (lubrication serums are silicone). They are responsible for that slippery glide that feels so silky and wonderful in the shower. The problem is they weigh hair down and provide no moisture. The slippery coating is volatile and scientific studies have shown that over 90% of the silicones vanish by the time you finish blow drying.

Sulfates are the same harsh chemicals that you wash your clothes with. You don't need that kind of cleansing for your hair.
Nutshell: Regular shampoos strip all the moisture and natural oils from your hair, even in the deeper layers of your hair cuticle. Silicone based conditioners do not replenish those natural oils, but coat the surface of your hair with heavy oils that weighs your hair down. This leaves you with a lack of body and dependency on styling products to add shine and volume. Silicones are volatile, and as they slip off your hair you are left with dry, dehydrated locks.
